AMERICAN MAN SENTENCED TO 50 YEARS JAIL FOR SEXTUAL ABUSE ON CHILDREN

An American man named Terry Ray Krieger has been sentenced to jail for Child Sex. 

This action was taken by a court  in Kenya after he pleaded guilty for sexual abuse on little children and child pornography.

Joseph karanja the magistrate delivered the sentence to Terry Ray Krieger 59 year old paraplegic man, as he described his action as horrific.He said Krieger robbed his victims of their childhood.

The said Krieger has previously served 13 years jail term in U.S on same charge. In Kenya he was found abusing a 3 year old Boy and a 6 year old girl who where his neigbours in Kenya,  he then distributed the images,circulating pornographic images of children on the internet.

Hmmmm……. a paraplegic (person paralysed from waist down) has done this horror? A man old enough to be a grandfather to the abused children. Its really heartbreaking and alarming. Absolute madness is what i call it. Abuse of children here and there.its happening in some corners we do not know. Please Parents and guardians monitor your kids,know who they associate with and play with. Do not leave kids alone for too long. when you see any case of Child Molestation report to the appropriate authority.Government should pass a decree to those who abuse or molest the Minors..My Blog Readers your opinion counts.

HOUSE HELP !! ATROCITIES !!

 

Following the news of child battering in Uganda, a two year old baby was seen tortured and battered by a house maid identified as Jolly Tumuhirwe, 22 of Rukungiri district.This terrible incident was seen through an interior securirty camera which Erick Kamanzi the father of the baby victim fixed in his house,a senior staff of an NGO in Kampala.

The video revealed a breath taking scene where Tumuhirwe was trying to feed the baby,the baby who was sick as at that time, was experiencing difficulting in coping with the rough and speedy way she was being fed by the maid.Tumuhirwe.The house maid then turns to the porridge and started eating it,but the tot could not contain the stuffed food down her throat,she landed a hot slap on the baby and baby kissing the floor,she remained there for few seconds.Then Tumuhirwe using a rechargeable torch hit the baby severally,not only that she stated kicking the baby and stepping on her back in turns,she finally gave her last kick which sent her silent and unable to move.Tumuhirwe then picked the baby like a piece of wood by one hand and vanished into the next room.

When Kamanzi the father of the baby came home and found some bruises on the baby,he didn’t ask the maid but went hastily to review the camera which he had taking long to monitor.As he saw what was done to the baby, he was ragged to the marrow and pounced on Tumuhirwe as she ran to the police and reported an assault case against her master.The police swung into action,arrested him and was dragged to the cell. Kamanzi asked the cops to look at what made him clobber the maid,a mere look at the video changed the cops stance and releases kamanzi.

Tumuhirwe was charged under Anti-Toture Act at Nakawa court but the police is contemplating on revising the charge and upgrade to Attempt to Murder.Tumuhirwe the house maid was told re-appear in court Dec.8th,2014.

Yesterday being December 8th,2014 she pleaded guilty of Child Abuse.However, news gathered that the tortured baby is still alive.

PRECAUTIONS IF MUST KEEP HOUSE HELP:

- Take time to know the house maid’s profile before employing.

- Show love to house maids to enable them reciprocate same love.

- Installation of interior security cameras or monitors should be encouraged.

- Government or employers of labour should have creches within work environment.

If all these measures are difficult to be met, Then WHAT NEXT? 

 

NOLLYWOOD ACTOR DESMOND ELLIOT NOW A POLITICIAN-WINS APC TICKET

The popular Nollywood Actor Desmond Elliot who has now gone into politics picked APC ticket to contest for Lagos House of Representatives under Surulere constituency,This was conducted in Lagos where Desmond Elliot defeated his opponent Mr. Kabiru Lawal.

News gathered that Desmond Elliot has been doing his bit by helping youth in the constituency, giving them scholarship to attend Open University. Also in the health sector, he provided health insurance for the old people.

Not only Desmond, other entertainers and celebrities in the likes Kenny saint Brown, Dayo Adeneye ,Kate Henshaw Nuttal and so many others are also in politics.

Universal Children's Day

 

By resolution 836(IX) of 14 December 1954, the General Assembly recommended that all countries institute a Universal Children's Day, to be observed as a day of worldwide fraternity and understanding between children. It recommended that the Day was to be observed also as a day of activity devoted to promoting the ideals and objectives of the Charter and the welfare of the children of the world. The Assembly suggested to governments that the Day be observed on the date and in the way which each considers appropriate. The date 20 November, marks the day on which the Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child, in 1959, and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, in 1989.
Nearly 25 years ago, the world made a promise to children: that we would do everything in our power to protect and promote their rights to survive and thrive, to learn and grow, to make their voices heard and to reach their full potential. In spite of the overall gains, there are many children who have fallen even further behind. Old challenges have combined with new problems to deprive many children of their rights and the benefits of development.
To meet these challenges, and to reach those children who are hardest to reach, we need new ways of thinking and new ways of doing - for adults and children.
There is much to celebrate as we mark the 25th anniversary of the Convention, from declining infant mortality to rising school enrolment, but this historic milestone must also serve as an urgent reminder that much remains to be done. Too many children still do not enjoy their full rights on par with their peers.

WOMAN STRIPPED NAKED FOR INDECENT DRESSING

 

A woman was stripped naked and physically assaulted in the public by a group of men in kenya over an indecent dressing,as the men perceived it as provocative on Monday.
This incident called for mass protest in the country capital Nairobi,Kenya.
The demonstrators demands for tougher action against Abuse of women by carrying placards that read "'My dress,My choice''.
However,Kenya authorities are investigating this incident.


 hmmm...Abuse and violence against women has been an issue around the globe,Not only Kenya but some other countries as well.
It's so sad that a woman was stripped naked and physically assaulted in the public.How can one tackle this problem? is it a class thing? or is it hypocritical?
As many as would have different views and opinion about this, whether it is right or wrong,Jungle justice is not the best option.
Abuse on Women and Girl-Child is totally wrong.

DOGS THAT WENT GAGA

Hmmmmm...........
 I remember while growing up as a child,i was told that Dogs are Man's best friend and dogs are domestic animals.Do you are agree with this? with reference to four year old omonigho who was attacked by two dogs and his scalp brutally bitten by the two dogs few weeks ago at igando area of Lagos.
A sad one indeed.It was a painful and sad experience for little Omonigho Abraham.
News gathered that the little boy was helpless as no one was able to rescue him until his mother arrived,took a brave heart and snatched him from the two dogs.
This little boy has suffered for someone's negligence by letting dangerous dogs loose.

However,here are some tips on HOW TO GUARD AND KEEP DOGS;
- A dog is declared dangerous when it has caused serious injury or death to a person or animal by attacking or biting.Therefore dangerous dogs should be confined in a strongly built cage or properly locked in an enclosure.
- Kids should not be allowed to stay close to wild and dangerous dogs because such dogs see them as prey.
- Dogs should be given medical  attention.
- Dogs should be fed well at all time.
-Dogs are not human,as they may bite out of blue.
- People who have dangerous dogs should have dangerous dog signs on their post or entrances.
- Dogs must be registered with the detail of the owner.
- Red and yellow striped collar should be worn be worn on dangerous dogs.
- Dogs must be kept under proper control by its owner.
- Owners of dogs are subject to criminal offences or penalties if their dog kills someone or endangers someone's life.
